We have the best recruiters out there hands down.

My concern with this coaching staff is their ability to teach and motivate these recruits on the field where it counts. We have had several highly recruited players turn out to be under achievers in the past.

We have the talent and depth to win every game we play this year. I wish Saban could get some higher profile big name assistants on staff.

Agree we are scary thin in some areas but we will improve each week. I think we could lose 5 games this year but that doesnt mean we are not headed in the right direction and its going to take at least a couple more years before we can be where we need to be but then again with a little luck, who knows?

TidewillRise is right we are thin in areas. Given the talent of the younger guys on the team it may make up for lack of experience and we should have a decent year. I think the coaches are working on recruiting the right type of players that they can work with on characters and mental toughness and will transmit to sucess on the field. These intangibles unfortunately do not immediately show up on the score board the first year. On any other team that had the coach in place for a while this would be considered a rebuilding year. However what we have to see to know the program is going in the right direction is improved continuity on both sides of the ball, sustained performance for the whole game, and less mental errors. Most Bama fans may not appreciate this unless it transmits into a win every week but it will be necessary to set the foundation for the future. IMHO
