No true freshman has ever started at wide receiver at Alabama, so Julio Jones might make school history on the Crimson Tide's first offensive snap against Clemson next Saturday.

All indications are that Jones, the freshman phenom from Foley, will take the field with Alabama's first-team offense in its season-opener at the Georgia Dome. Most observers expect him to make an immediate impact this season, quickly evolving into a go-to receiver for senior quarterback John Parker Wilson.
