Monday practice notes: Tide gets to work on Florida

The top-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide (12-0, 8-0) took the practice field for the first time Monday since its 36-0 dismantling of in-state rival Auburn Saturday at Bryant-Denny Stadium. The Tide worked out in shorts, shoulder pads and helmets at the indoor facility in preparation for the SEC East champion Florida Gators (11-1, 7-1). A few notes from the media viewing period:
