Alabama was back on the practice field in full pads on Wednesday. Here are a few notes:
• Starting offensive tackle Andre Smith remained sidelined in a black "no contact" jersey Wednesday, making it less and less likely he'll be ready to play against Tulane on Saturday. Smith, who sprained his right knee against Clemson last week, worked on a stationary bicycle during the media viewing period of Wednesday's practice.

• Also in black and on the bike was sophomore wide receiver Earl Alexander, who aggravated an ankle injury against Clemson. Alexander also sat out both Monday and Tuesday and remains questionable for Saturday.

• Alabama coach Nick Saban will address the media after practice. Check back later for updates.
