Check out the top 10 list below and see what you think:
1. Rolando McClain is just as good as any linebacker we've ever had in Tuscaloosa. Please continue to join me by enjoying the middle linebacker position played at its highest level, Lord-willing for 4 more
games.
2. There's room for everyone on the Marquis Johnson bandwagon... come on down! Sure he was burned on play #1, but that happens to every db. I think he more than made up for it later.
3. I can't gauge the intangible "leadership" from the upper deck, but in EVERY OTHER AREA Mark Barron is now better than Rashad Johnson, and Johnson was pretty danged good.
4. I know it was pointed out by Todd Blackledge, but Trent Richardson's block was head-turning... not just the block itself, but the recognition. (honorable mention to Darius Hanks on the same play for showing some speed that I didn't know he had)
5. James Carpenter is getting better and better with every game, and may have played his best Saturday night. We'll need him against Auburn's pass-rush (which is their only hope).
6. Saturday probably gave us the best preview of how Coach Saban intends to defend Florida, and how much Donte's loss really does affect this defense. With Donte', I don't think Dixon gets 40 yards rushing. I still have some film-watching to do, but it looked to me that Cory Reamer got most of the snaps at Wil... meaning that Saban kept a little speedier lineup in the game. After playing his best game of the year, Nico Johnson was not used as much. Again, I think that was planned based on the offensive scheme.
