Is it now or wait-a-couple-more-years for Alabama?

The Crimson Tide has started 8-0 for the second-straight season. After not closing the deal last year, Alabama will attempt to do that this season.

Question is: How many more chances will Alabama get to close the deal at 8-0 in the next few years?

Alabama will lose some key seniors after this season in guys like Terrence Cody, Lorenzo Washington, Brandon Deaderick, Cory Reamer, Javier Arenas, Kareem Jackson, Justin Woodall, Eryk Anders, Mike Johnson, Drew Davis, Colin Peek, Mike McCoy, Leigh Tiffin and P.J. Fitzgerald. There's a very good chance Alabama will also lose its all-everything leader on defense -- junior linebacker Rolando McClain.

But, at the same time, Alabama has also been recruiting extremely well the past few years.

So is another 8-0 start likely in 2010 or is Alabama looking at a closing window this season? Closing for the short-term anyway.
