The two teams were scheduled to play a four-game series this weekend, but weather forced the cancellation of two games. The series opener was cancelled due to rain and severe weather on Friday, while winter weather cancelled Sunday’s finale.
Alabama won both games of Saturday's doubleheader, 4-2 and 20-4, to improve to 5-2 on the season. The Crimson Tide is back in action Tuesday at Troy, its first road game of the season.
