Uh, at least on the recruiting trail, and at least when you're talking about Under Armour All-America defensive end Corey Lemonier (Hialeah, Fla./Hialeah) and teammate Calvin Smith, an ESPNU 150 Watch List defensive tackle. The pair apparently want to stick together at the next level.
Both are seriously considering making New Mexico -- yes, New Mexico -- their college home and recently took a visit there. And it wasn't just a courtesy trip. Both players like the fact that they can earn early playing time at New Mexico.
So what other schools are these two standouts interested in? Alabama is one. The others include Florida State, Illinois, Ole Miss, Florida and Tennessee.
Two other prospects Alabama is involved in that Tide fans might want to keep an eye on are Georgia Military College defensive back Jakar Hamilton and Under Armour All-America offensive lineman Torrian Wilson (Miami, Fla./Northwestern).
Hamilton is expected to pick between Alabama and Georgia on July 11, and Wilson has the Tide in his top five, along with Michigan, Miami, Stanford and Florida International. Wilson plans to commit in August.
