One day after some disappointing recruiting news, Alabama got some good news Tuesday when Arie Kouandjio decided to announce for the Crimson Tide.

Kouandjio (Hyattsville, Md./DeMatha Catholic) is a three-star recruit who is rated as the No. 14 offensive guard in the country. The 6-foot-5, 321-pound prospect was also considering Cal, Maryland, Southern Cal and New Mexico.

On Monday, rumors swirled that Alabama commit Keenan Allen would be signing with Cal on Wednesday.
