Phillip Sims, a 6 foot 1, 235 pound gunslinger from Chesapeake, Virginia was able to speak with CC about the playoffs, and his future playing football for Alabama.

Sims has had to battle a tremendous amount adversity throughout his senior regular season campaign.

"Yeah, starting out this year we knew (Oscar Smith) that we had a lot of youth at the skill player positions. Our receiving core was young and unproven, and they had to come into their own as a unit. We weren't nearly as productive as we wanted to be with touchdown passes during the first half of the season. There were a lot of growing pains early on this year but my team mates kept working and getting better and better."
