6 foot 7 darkhorse prospect Adrian Hubbard
|
Adrian Hubbard, a 6 foot 7, 222 pound defensive end prospect from Georgia has seen his recruitment pick up tremendously over the past few weeks. Hubbard also was recently selected to compete in the Under Armour All-Star game this January. He has picked up scholarship offers from Kentucky, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Clemson, NC State, Georgia State, Florida State, Alabama, Auburn and Georgia.
Hubbard was recently ranked among the top 75 prospects within the ESPN 150. He has been regarded by ESPN Scouts Inc as one of the fastest rising prospects in the nation.
And all of these accomplishment have gone on despite Hubbard not playing football during his junior year.
ESPN's Craig Haubert said this recently regarding Hubbard, “The evaluation process is a continual thing that does not stop with the release of the ESPNU 150 in August. While it is not common to find highly ranked talent at this point in the process it is not impossible and Adrian Hubbard is an example of that. A basketball kid with a limited football background, Hubbard’s size, ability, and intriguing upside have made him a candidate for the 150 when it is updated next week. He reminds us of a greener version of William Gholston and we feel this kid could be one of the hotter prospects down the stretch here as we move towards national signing day”'
