The Crimson Tide (16-2) had 12 hits on the day, including Whitney Larsen's first-inning grand slam. Jennifer Fenton added two hits and two RBI, including a home run.
Kelsi Dunne started the game for Alabama, but went just two innings. Charlotte Morgan (6-2) came on in the third, and pitched five innings for the victory.
The victory was Alabama's third of the weekend and second over Baylor in two days. The Crimson Tide beat co-No. 1-ranked Washington 6-0 on Friday, then lost to the Huskies 6-0 on Saturday before beating Baylor 4-0 also on Saturday.
“It was good to get two wins over Baylor and it was definitely a good split with Washington,” Alabama coach Patrick Murphy said. “It was definitely the strongest four-team tournament in the country this year. We are going to work on some things and we feel this is the strongest pitching we have seen prior to the start of conference.”
Alabama is back in action on Tuesday at UAB, then hosts Mississippi Valley State on Wednesday. The Crimson Tide begins Southeastern Conference play on Saturday at home against Mississippi State.
